Mark Hannan has worked hard to learn organizational structuring, effectiveness, and learning. Businesses and businessmen could certainly benefit from organizational learning and change. This is a very important time for these issues, since the economic recession has made it so difficult for businesses to thrive. In order for businesses to adjust to change, they need to know how to change—and this is where organizational change is most needed. C. Mark Hannan has long been a student of various business strategies and theories. He is a student of the policies of John Kotter, who is a Professor Emeritus of the Harvard Business School.

Obviously C. Mark Hannon’s education did not start when he began learning about organizational effectiveness and change. He was raised in a small, rural, village in the Midwestern United States, which helped to imbue him with the notion that hard work was foundational to business success. C. Mark Hannan also attended college, paying for his own schooling by working on an oil and gas drilling rig as a roughneck.
